biggest usability gripe with the ios 27 beta is that i keep accidentally drawing a search selection when i’m trying to crop or use live text on a screenshot.
it should be a tool i have to intentionally tap on to use instead of it just assuming i want google to see whatever i captured

i’ve been playing around with ‘smallnet’ protocols recently, so i decided to set up a capsule for the gemini protocol. the markup language it uses tastes like markdown, and given how absolutely stripped down it is, pages for it load really fast. only downside i’ve found (that doesn’t make it more appealing) is it’s name. google took the name for their slopbot and it’s making it hard to find resources for it outside of the protocol space itself.
anyway, <gemini://theglasspenguin.capsule.town>
